    19-20-21-22 Oct: Diivng Ras Mohammed, Thistlegorm, Dunraven, Kıngston Wreck and Tiran Islands (2 dives by boat each day)

    23 Oct: Dahab Blue Hole and Canyon dives during the day

    24 Oct: Free day in Sharm El Sheikh for surface time before next day’s flight

    25 Oct: Departure from Sharm El Sheikh Airport (THY) and arrive at Istanbul

    • Diving conditions may change according to weather and water. Depending on these conditions and divers’ experience level, we may change diving dates, dive profiles, locations and/or number of dives.

    • If any equipment is damaged or lost, full price is compansated.

    • If someone wishes not to attend the tour after reserving a place and making a payment, tour will continue and a full refund will be made (excluding flights and mandatory payments we have made so far) only if this person finds a replacement.

    • In the case of a force majeure event, a full refund will be made excluding any payments we have made so far.

    • Logbook Adventures reserves the right to make any changes to the tour, terms and conditions and anything else including prices.

    • Electricity Plugs

      Egypt uses 220V/50Hz electricity with two main plug types:  

      • Type C: Two round pins.  

      • Type F: Two round pins with two earth clips on the side (also known as a Schuko plug).  

      It's recommended to bring a universal travel adapter to ensure compatibility with your devices.

      Currency

      The official currency of Egypt is the Egyptian Pound (EGP). It's advisable to exchange currency at banks or authorized exchange offices for the best rates. Credit cards are widely accepted in major cities and tourist areas.  

      Daily Life

      • Language: The official language is Arabic, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas and businesses.

      • Religion: The majority of Egyptians are Muslim, with a significant Christian minority.  

      • Dress Code: While there are no strict dress codes for tourists, it's respectful to dress modestly, especially when visiting religious sites. Avoid revealing clothing and cover your shoulders and knees.

      • Food: Egyptian cuisine is delicious and diverse, with influences from the Mediterranean and Middle East. Popular dishes include koshari (a mix of rice, lentils, and pasta), ful medames (fava beans), and shawarma.  

      Weather in Autumn

      October is a great time to visit Egypt, with pleasant temperatures and fewer crowds. Expect warm days with temperatures ranging from 21°C to 25°C (77°F to 86°F) and cooler nights around 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F).

      • Coastal areas (Red Sea and Mediterranean): Enjoy warm temperatures year-round, with highs around 30°C (86°F) and lows around 20°C (68°F) in autumn. The water is perfect for swimming and diving.

      • Desert areas: Days can still be hot, with temperatures reaching 35°C (95°F) or higher. Nights are cool, with temperatures dropping to 10°C (50°F) or lower.

      Other Useful Information

      • Tipping: Tipping is customary in Egypt for services such as restaurants, hotels, and taxis. A small tip of 10-15% is appreciated.  

      • Bargaining: Bargaining is common in markets and souks. Don't be afraid to negotiate prices, but always be respectful.  

      • Safety: Egypt is generally a safe country for tourists.However, it's important to be aware of your surroundings and take precautions like avoiding large crowds and demonstrations.
