Discover Scuba Diving

Congratulations for choosing this journey! This is your first step to start diving.

You will meet with your PADI Professional and start learning how scuba equipment allows you to explore the underwater world. You will also learn some key concepts about underwater, safety considerations and basic dive skills.

What to expect

    IMPORTANT

    This is not a scuba certification course. It allows you to dive only under the supervision of a PADI Professional and to a maximum depth of 5 meters (maximum depth may vary depending on local regulations).

    PADI DSD e-Learning Material

    You will receive digital e-Learning material. Use your computer or mobile device to learn diving safety fundamentals before you get in the water.

    Briefing and Preparation

    Your PADI Professional will review the information wiih you and make you understand important concepts. You will choose your equipment together and prepare for the dive.

    Entering Water

    There is no need to hurry, you are all doing this for fun. You will make a vert slow and patie t entry into water and start descending. Our maximum depth will be 5 meters.

    Underwater

    You’ll take your first breath underwater – something you’ll never forget.

    You’ll explore the aquatic realm, make memories.

    Your PADI Professional will take photos and videos of your amazing experience.

    The tour underwater will take around 20-30 mins.

    After this course

    Congratulations!

    You will receive a certificate of completion. You will also receive photos and videos of your great moments underwater.

    Discover Scuba Diving isn’t an official diver certification.

    You can enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver certification course if you want to become a certified diver.

What’s inside

Part 1 (e-Learning)

You can use your computer or mobile device to read and complete the reading material. You will learn about how water pressure affects you, scuba equipment, scuba skills and conservation for the environment. The time commitment for this part is 20-30 mins.

Part 2 (Preparation)

Your PADI Professional will explain key concepts, make sure you understand safety considerations, introduce you the scuba equipment and explain how it functions. You will also learn how to communicate using hand signals underwater. Time commitment for this part is 20-30 mins.

Part 3 (Diving)

During your experience, your PADI Professional will take care of you and your equipment so you don`t need to worry about anything.

The tour will take aorund 20-30 mins.

Part 4 (Completion)

Congratulations!

You have now completed your first diving experience. After your underwater tour, you will surface and go back to the dive center. You will receive a certificate of completion and digital photos & videos of your experience underwater. You are now ready to enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course to become a certified diver. Ask your PADI Professional for details.

Frequently asked questions

  • Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

    Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical Form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Instructors, divemasters and dive shop staff are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive.

  • There are no course prerequisites.

  • PADI standard is minimum 10 yrs. old. Local regulations may vary. For example, in Turkey, you have to be minimum 14 yrs old to submerge with scuba equipment. This includes Discovery Scuba Diving.

  • You just need to bring your swimming suit and a towel. You will be provided all the equipment for diving.

  • You need 30 mins for PADI e-Learning. You will need around 2-3 hours in total.

  • Please contact us and make a reservation first. Once you completed your reservation and and made payment, you will recveive your e-Learning material. You can complete e-Learning on your mobile device or computer.

    After you completed e-Learning, please arrive 30 mins before your reservation time.
